I am to the point where I really do not care. Stay if you want, go if you want. Just remember that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the portal. Also, with what some have said on these forums, there may be other teams poaching with dollar bills flashing at players that are not yet in the portal.

I thought window closed? How does that work if not enrolled this semester? Can players who sign this kate participate in Spring practice or any organized meetings, strength and conditioning, etc...?

Any player who signs too late to register for spring classes would not be eligible to participate until the summer. Just because the portal is closed doesn't mean a player must choose a new school yet. Also, many may decide to wait for the second portal to open after spring practice has given them a chance to see where they fit in, especially in a situation like UC's, with a new staff and direction.

The name is the same.TSU had a different name when the movie came out. Texas State just moved up to FBS a couple of years ago I think and it's not a good program all. Even Rice has a better football history. A couple of years ago the coach (Spavital?) did something crazy and didn't recruit any HS students. He pulled all his players from the existing roster and the portal. He got fired in this past offseason.

I think this was a move to get closer to home for Drew since he's from the Dallas area and it's probably not his final stop. He's better than TSU.
