For those who don't like the hire, I get it but you might want to compare the resume' of Satterfield to that of Fickell at the beginning of their tenure at UC. -
Have been reading this forum for many years, but this is my first post...Have an open mind here, seems like he can recruit talented players. This bowl game is going to be something else.Leave a comment:

A second reason why Satterfield left. U ofL would not give him an extension this year apparentlyLeave a comment:

Mo Egger on Twitter: Everyone was obsessing over flight tracker when all along UC hired a coach who simply had to drive up I-71.Leave a comment:

Solid hire. A lot of experience. U of L record is so so, but I don;t think you should count the Covid marred years against him.Leave a comment:

If horrible = not flashy then you're correct.
He took App State into FBS from FCS successfully and had mostly rebuilt UofL from the Bobby Petrino second shift. The boosters at UofL wanted Jeff Brohm over him and tried to run Satterfield out of town earlier this year. So if you were wondering why he's leaving one P5 for another, that's why.
The guy can recruit a bit . U of L has the 19th ranked recruiting class coming into this.Leave a comment:

A great history of success wherever he coached, including putting Appalachia State on the notoriety football map. I like GoBearcats31 checklist. The question is why is he willing to make this apparent lateral move?Leave a comment:
