True but we were 1 pt and 17 seconds away from 4-0. This team is really hard to gauge right now.

Additional weird stat. That was the first shutout of a P4 team this season.

Speaking of Miami, the were ahead of ND at one point 3-0. They were not embarrassed in South Bend today.

The Pittsburgh game was lost by bad coaching decision our last possession. On first down Kiner picks up eight yards. Instead of leaving him in there he is pulled out. Pryor loses yardage on 2nd down and then incomplete pass on third forces a punt.

Kiner should have never been taken out of the game. When you have the lead and the ball keep feeding your best running back the ball to run out the clock.

I blame the Pittsburg loss on the coaches.

Coaching definitely cost the Pittsburgh game.
Against Houston, we saw what the 3-3-5 is supposed to be, but I still think we won’t stop the run against better competition. Time will tell, and I hope they figure it out.
