I think the UC defense is well suited to stop and significantly slow down Miami's offense. I cannot say I'm a fan of using only 3 down linemen, but it works at App St and it will work against Miami because the defensive back field will cover long enough for our linemen to get pressure and the linebacker speed will help in the run game. In both the secondary coverage and the LB speed, this scheme will not work against Big 12 or other P4 teams. I predict the 6th year Miami QB will get frustrated and take unnessary chances, and UC wins the turnover battle by at least 3 TOs. Our offense, while improved over last year, will get healthy in this game.

Offense play calling stinks. Still only rushing 3 of defense most of the time. This is hard to watch.

Royer fumbles an apparent touchdown into the end zone and it goes out resulting in a touchback. The drive started on the UC 5 yard line. Up till that play the offense looked very balanced. Too bad the red zone strikes again.
