Corn works for me. I'll be rooting for the Cats to win every game this season, and the Bowl Game, but my focus is already on Nebraska in September. We need to make a statement with a win over even a mediocre Big Ten team.Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

For anyone's who's still confused on this thread. I started it with "Corn" instead of Iowa St and then someone pointed out that was Nebraska, so I changed the school to E85 Ethanol.
Now onto real stuff. This is a going to be interesting. Night game in Ames in November. Can the Bearcats score enough and fight off the turnover bug this week? Do we know all the defensive play signals and scheme from Tyson Veidt's time in Ames?
Iowa St had a lot of problems with UCF's offense and barely won that game at home. I 'm hoping we can mount the same level of offense and hoping our defense can keep us in it better than UCF's did.
ISU's offense is about 2:1 pass run. I'm not impressed with the running game this season. They have 1500 yards total on the ground this season and about 10% is the QB, Becht. They have quality receivers in Noel and Higgins on the outside that we'll probably have some trouble with though. They have 1500 receiving yards between the two of them.

As much talk about ISU missing out on the CFP because of the 1st and being mad, I think the 2nd loss took all of the wind from their sails. Much like Ok St and FSU, this was a CFP or bust type season, and the Cyclones busted later than the first two. I really think UC is going to dominate this game if they avoid turnovers
