What goes into putting together an offer and who is involved? With CincyReigns doing NIL, and HC, plus position coach, I bet it gets convoluted and delayed. Add in player, player's family, and the agents.

I think the offer goes out from the staff to players they're interested in and after that the rest of the crew gets involved.

This is simply incorrect. Satt is recruiting local guys…but his strategy is the portal. Kandra, Royer, Sterling B, etc.

Look for more of that this portal season…hint Hamilton Badin.

Additionally, the staff did recruit several local kids from HS, even got some commitments - but the $ of bugger schools was too much to overcome. Tuberville didn’t even recruit local at all.


You can be frustrated with Satt’s on field success. But to say that is isn’t recruiting local guys is simply inaccurate.

He has never payed a visit to Colerain High School, where we have a young QB who has been contacted by O$U. Next year's cupboard will be bare, and CSS will be on his way to being the DC or OC at some mediocre school the following year. I hope I am wrong, but after following UC FB for 50 years, I get "feelings" on where we are headed, and currently, my feelings are not good.
