Interesting. Don’t know much about him but the portal has now led to two transfer QBs from the B1G in three years - Sorsby and now Chiles (if it is true).

Looks like he was benched late in the season. Hopefully not throwing too much $ at him.

He was horrible this year. MSU's offense finally started moving the ball once he was benched. Not a good pick up in my opinion.

Being a native Bostonian and with many family members Boston College alums, I watched the Michigan State - BC game this year. Chiles looked fairly decent in that game although BC made many QBs look good this past year. Chiles threw for 4 TDs (in 2 OT) and had a good completion percentage. Keep in mind he just turned 20 this past September.

So I guess he really trailed off later in the year...don't know if it was a maturity issue or just plain bad performance. Perhaps he can be coached up while he's still very young.

It could be the coaching staff has told him what UC is wiling to pay for him to stay and he was not satisfied with that amount. He seemed to be happy here and with his role. which is the reason I am surprised by his decision. So does this mean he won’t play in the Liberty Bowl?
