I haven't rechecked but I don't think he was on the Bowl Game 2 deep and the team flew out todayIt could be the coaching staff has told him what UC is wiling to pay for him to stay and he was not satisfied with that amount. He seemed to be happy here and with his role. which is the reason I am surprised by his decision. So does this mean he won’t play in the Liberty Bowl?Brent Wyrick

The paper said Pryor was at practice but didn't go with the team. Could his agent had gotten a call from another team. How the times have changed.Comment

As of today, here are the numbers for each Big 12 team in the portal:

WV - 29
CU - 25
UCF - 22
K State - 21
KU - 17
BU - 16
ASU - 9
UC - 9
Arizona - 7
TT - 6
Utah - 6
BYU - 5
UH - 4
TCU - 4Comment

OSU & ISU are understandable. Their new coaches get to start from scratch in making their program during a honeymoon period. I just wonder how long that grace period will be especially at ISU.Comment

I am surprised (pleasantly, I suppose) that UC only has 9 declared, but that may change, right? Until we get the QB position solved (my personal opinion, it wasn't with Sorsby), we are a middling B12 team. I definitely believe Lichtenburg should get some solid action in Friday's game out of fairness, but I hope Samaj gets more than mop up type snaps.Comment

My initial thoughts were that the best teams have the fewest players hitting the portal. I wonder how many of those players were asked to leave to make room for more paid players. We know that TT and BYU have a boatload of cash to pay their players.Comment

How much does the prior season have on a decision to enter the portal? If you look at UC, Sorsby, Harrison and Pryor offer skills that another team is willing to pay them for, so that may also be a factor. I believe that is definitely the case with Sorsby and Harrison.Comment

As of now, Iowa State has only 17 of this year's players left, including only one starter. Their coach left, and so did the team. Sad.

I will just say this, if a player has graduated and still has eligibility left and places an importance on education, I would suspect that getting a master's degree from another school would be important. Sorry for the run-on sentence. Getting degrees from different schools is important to some employers. I do have a BS and MS both from UC so I know a little bit.Comment

Per Chad Brendel, UC and Pryor ('s agent) were negotiating right to the time that the team went to the airport. By that point, they couldn't bridge whatever gap existed.Comment

The chart showing UC as having only nine players transferring is inaccurate. There are at least 15 so far:I am surprised (pleasantly, I suppose) that UC only has 9 declared, but that may change, right? Until we get the QB position solved (my personal opinion, it wasn't with Sorsby), we are a middling B12 team. I definitely believe Lichtenburg should get some solid action in Friday's game out of fairness, but I hope Samaj gets more than mop up type snaps.- QB Brendan Sorsby, Zeb Kinsey
- RB Evan Pryor, Chance Williams
- WR Dakarai Anderson, Kale Woodburn, (and I believe that Zane Kinsey, Zeb’s brother, will also transfer)
- OT Ethan Green
- DL Kamari Burns
- DE Mikah Coleman
- CB Kye Stokes, Ormanie Arnold, Willie Goodwyn
- Star JiQuan Sanks
- S Tayden Barnes, Christian Harrison
