How good would SMU be right now if they were not given the death penalty?
The state of ohio approved NIL for HS a couple of weeks back. If we thought 20 years olds with cash was bad how about what a 15 year old will do. Parents need to be parents and not agents.

Sorsby and Golday are the only names I recognize. Life-long Bearcat here. Sad state of affairs.

This is a new rule in Ohio this summer. The Ohio legislature wanted Oh St boosters to be able to bring their committed recruits to Ohio to protect them from ongoing recruiting. Plus, there is a wink wink, that the high school NIL will lead to signing.

Honestly, if I'm UC, I say let's play this game. UC is the only other power conference school in the state and we can pay recruits too, through their schools.

CB Noah King is in the portal from Colorado. He played locally at Fairfield.

CB Jyair Brow from UCF. He played locally at Lakota West.

          Maybe they are homesick?

Also Edge Adam Trick from Miami (Ohio). He is listed as 4 star transfer from Wayne High School in Dayton

maybe his stay in the SEC will be better than the Big 12.

Yep, but since he was getting NIL money, it is my belief that he has to play in the bowl game.

Correction from earlier post: He does NOT have to play in the bowl game.

I hope they start Samaj Jones at QB so we can see how he does... I know Lichtenberg has been around a long time and deserves to play but he's out of eligibility and we need to tryout Samaj and see if he is viable for next year...
