Bowl season is closer than you think . Here's what people are predicting.

Utah to the LV bowl vs. Big Ten
Arizona to the Holiday Bowl vs ACC
Arizona St. to the Sun Bowl vs ACC

I suspect that those are three wins for the Big 12. That is if those players show up.

Well, BYU played themselves out of the CFP today losing to TTU 34-7.

I would also mention Utah in this conversation. Also, I believe that ND should be included in the ACC selection. There is no way that either Duke or Virginia should be in the playoff.

I would love for the committee to send ND a message and not select them for the CFP. However, it is all about money and I suspect that ND brings a large audience to TV.

Well, ND was the first team out. BYU was the second team out. Texas Tech has spent $26M for their roster. We will see if they can make a run.

ISU and KSU have declined their bowl bids due to staff turnover.

Notre Dame has announced they will decline their bid as well and I find that a bit shocking and a knee jerk reaction to being left out of the CFP

cry baby losers-- get in a conference - play a better schedule and don't count on name value.

their desire not to have to share tv & bowl game revenues in a conference has benefits to the school ($$$) but what for the fans -- sour grapes and excuses -
