I know as an Ohioan that it's it's not popular to obtain glee at OSU's losing but as a UC fan I can't help myself. And even though U of Miami probably spends more money on their amature athletes I could help myself rooting for them.

Miami played very well, fending off a second half comeback by tO$U. Miami’s defense was outstanding in the first half and tO$U really played well in the second half. It just couldn’t overcome the poor first half performance.

I’m a bit shocked that TTU couldn’t score a single point on the Ducks. Too many turnovers

To date, the top 4 seeds are 0-6 in the 12 team format over two seasons.

Indiana looks stout guys. I like it when the perennial powers get embarrassed on national TV. Go Hoosiers!

I'm going to say this because someone else will, regardless of what you think of Satterfield, we whiffed on Cignetti. Can you imagine the trend from Fickell to Cignetti.

Let's not discount the contributions of Mark Cuban. Also Indiana has opted to put their money first into coaches and players then update their woeful facilities at a later date.We went for facilities first which does not appear to be panning out.

Brent, I,'m with you Cignetti would be welcome here in a heartbeat. The discipline his team showed on that double 4th down attempt by AU was awesome. I did not know that we whiffed on him.

He would have been gone from UC after 2 years of success.

At least UC would have been paid for his departure versus UC having to pay for the departure of a coach. However, I see UC and IU basically parallel jobs. The City of Cincinnati has a lot more to offer than does Bloomington.

B.C. is correct, after any success at all at UC he would bolt. UC has to change the image of being a perennial stepping stone job. I saw somewhere where Cignetti 's salary is 11 million. Now I don't know if that is the annual figure or the term of contact. But UC can't come close to that number.

at the time, the facilities seemed to be the way into the P4 club, with the idea that the extra $$$ would bring the coaches and the players. NIL and the death of transfer regs changed the whole sport, almost overnight.

In two years of the 12 team format, IU is the only team that had a first round bye to advance. That was an absolute a$$ kicking of Alabama. Very impressive.

UC also whiffed on Isaiah Jones, a LB from London (OH), who I thought was under-recruited and was considering UC in HS. He had several great plays last night and several against tO$U in the B1G championship game.

First round byes over the two years 1-7.
The final four is set at #1 IU vs #5 Oregon, #6 Ole Miss vs #10 Miami. I have a bad feeling about the IU -O game. However, it is nice not to have 'Bama, Georga or tosu in the round.
