It is amazing what a change in conference can do for a program.
Valid point, and one I didn't think of.

UCF is definitely doing what they can to get recognized by the current BCS conferences.

As a season ticket holder (I have UC tickets too), I just got the following email:

"We have recently released a new and exciting initiative program called Knights Referral Challenge. We recently had a press release on our website, but I wanted to make sure you got this new information. Attached is a great informational piece explain the new program . I know I have spoken to most of you about our goal to reach 20,000 season tickets for 2010 and to do that I am going to need your help! There are extraordinary prizes to win, and it only takes one season ticket referral to win a prize! Take a look at the attached flier and let me know if you have any questions. Lets pack the Bright House this year and send a message to all the BCS conferences that UCF is for real!"

      Following was attached:

Does UC have 20k season ticket holders yet? I'd have to guess we're getting close....UC Marketing?

No, we are not at 20k yet. 20K season ticket holders just about sells out our stadium. I believe that is the goal for this year.
Our goal is for someone to be asked, what's the best program in the nation? And the answer be: Cincinnati.-Mick Cronin

            How does that work?

            Holds 35K
            6K for students (leaves 29K)
            3K for visitors (leaves 26K)

            What am I missing?
