UCF is definitely doing what they can to get recognized by the current BCS conferences.
As a season ticket holder (I have UC tickets too), I just got the following email:
"We have recently released a new and exciting initiative program called Knights Referral Challenge. We recently had a press release on our website, but I wanted to make sure you got this new information. Attached is a great informational piece explain the new program . I know I have spoken to most of you about our goal to reach 20,000 season tickets for 2010 and to do that I am going to need your help! There are extraordinary prizes to win, and it only takes one season ticket referral to win a prize! Take a look at the attached flier and let me know if you have any questions. Lets pack the Bright House this year and send a message to all the BCS conferences that UCF is for real!"

No, we are not at 20k yet. 20K season ticket holders just about sells out our stadium. I believe that is the goal for this year. Our goal is for someone to be asked, what's the best program in the nation? And the answer be: Cincinnati.-Mick Cronin
