In a nod to leo from jersey, I've started a new thread on NIL. Not only do we need to talk about what UC is doing in this realm via a 501c3 charity foundation but we've had several olympic sports athletes sign NIL deals this past week with BSBSports

There aren't easy answers, and I do not want to go back to the time where these payments were being made under the table. I like the current above board system, but disagree with the approach of pay-4-play at these rates.

I understand what you are saying -- but there is even more under the table in some places. Until there is clarity and tOSU, Alabamas, Georgia, Clemson, Texas etc. take control, there won't be much change. I see the AD at tOSU wants clarity, but perhaps so he can monopolize it to their advantage.
