tO$U announced a budget of $20.5M for NIL across all sports. Every student athlete will be on scholarships with some programs being eliminated to reduce the number of athletes to be paid. Likely more to follow from other programs.

Definitely. SMU is a poster child on how to be successful when you can buy players whether it be before or after NIL.

Sorry, if that's the value of two superstars in MLB's biggest market, then no college player is worth the current NIL amounts, at least not true endorsement NIL. The system reeks of pay-4-play

I think you might be mistaking NIL for only endorsement money. That's part of it for sure but yes it's pay-4-play.

Not sure. I have not read the actual EO. But, based on my limited understanding of it, I believe Cincy Reigns will become a part of the University and/or its athletic department.

Tommy Tuberville is still such a clown. Pushing for a national NIL law, doesn’t like players breaking contracts … also he uses Indiana — who is thriving this year with many mid-major transfers — as an example of what’s wrong with college football today. https://x.com/danwetzel/status/18589...A2NHZ_hNyS2mFg

Bad information on my part from Twitter. Go figure...

Here's a good rundown for Athletic subscribers re: the QB ($)

More is coming on out on this and it sounds like his agent made a huge mistake in that the $100,000 he was promised from an assistant coach for his client transferring to UNLV was never in writing.
