There's been plenty of chatter and possible clues about UC switching away from Under Armour to the Jordan Brand. Today, on Instagram, Jeremiah Davenport posted some photos from graduation -- including a photo of him with Wes Miller. Wes Miller is wearing a UC hat with a Jordan logo, a UC shirt with a Jordan logo, Jordan pants, and I think Nike shoes. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fu6jwVPW...jpg&name=large

This is an interesting deal they've put together. UC's actually going through a middle man for uniforms and supplies and not directly through Nike. BSN Sports is supplying the goods and services for 2 years while we work on a permanent contract with NIke. I think this was done to get out from under UA since they've pulled back their licensing almost completely.

I'm guessing there is no money coming our way with this BSN contract and based on what I've seen with other contracts lately, there will be no real money coming to us from NIke either when a perm. deal gets done.

I've recently learned that when schools announce an apparel contract, what they generally mean is you get $X worth of stuff over Y years and the brand does the work. There's no actual payment to the school of $X at any point.

Jordan brand in particular doesn't pay people anything. You sign with them to get it on the uniform.

Anyone looking to pick up discounted UA gear should install the UA app on their phone. Search for Cincinnati. Lots of discounted stuff. None of it is on UA’s website btw so don’t bother with that.

Not a ton of Jordan/Nike chatter here compared with other places online/social media. There seems to be some confusion about the BSN aspect of the deal (see above posts for information about BSN), but sounds like this is just a bridge to Jordan/Nike before a direct deal eventually happens.

Also, reading comments online from attendees of last night's UC event in Cleveland (which sounded very cool by the way - if anyone is in Columbus and Chicago, I think those are next) and it seems like the future basketball jerseys will have some similarities to the old Jordan UC jerseys, but with a modern feel.

I just installed the app to check. Pretty sad discounts so far, still overpriced. Probably need to wait a bit longer to get some actual deals. A lot of the better things are still full price too
