It was a little bit different situation for Pruitt. He and his wife provided $60,000 in impermissible benefits to players. Pruitt and nine assistants were fired, and the NCAA vacated all 11 wins from the 2019-20 seasons.

I'm inclined to believe that, had Pruitt's teams not gone 16-19 in actual action in those two seasons, the Vols brass would've done more to try to fight his six-year show-cause. Harbaugh, by contrast, is winning now. He's exempt from major criticism in Ann Arbor at this point. After all, the Wolverines have beaten the Buckeyes each of the last two seasons.

Apparently, I need to change the title of this thread to just B1G investigations.

Michigan suspended Harbaugh for 4 games and now it’s Minnesota and PJ Fleck’s turn in the barrel.

Well, when the great college realignment begins in 2030's, this may be a reason to leave NU with the have nots. When the NFL model is set and the money speaks, the landscape will look a whole lot different. I just hope that the Bearcats find a seat at the table.

Eight former NU have hired Ben Crump as an attorney. Crump is a civil rights lawyer.

This might get messy if you’re still keeping score here.

At the risk of being deleted from the thread I'll just say what one person describes as inappropriate another may very well call non traditional male bonding.

They won't kick Northwestern out. They have too much tradition and they like the academic standing that goes with Northwestern. Plus Northwestern has had enough success at times to keep them interesting.

Someone might want to tell Fitzgerald what happened to Joe Pa when he knew nothing about what was going on in Happy Valley.
