Without stealing all of Extra Points' content, the Bearcats spent just under 3M this season getting to the NCAA tournament. This is mid range on the list of NCAA tourney teams. Tenn spent 13M while Central Connecticut spent 755K

end of the road today - they had a pretty good season, and an awful lot of contributors will be back - they were young this year. add in the schools best recruiting class ever - things are looking for this team

For anyone who was as confused as I was as to why UC gets to be the home team tonight against the Vols, here’s what I found:
    • “First set of games, the higher seed is the home team. After that the rules are

      1. The team that has been the home team fewer times is the home team.
      2. If tied, the team that has been the away team more times is the home team.
      3. If tied and the two teams have played a game already, then the away team from the previous game is the home team.
      4. If the two teams have not played previously, then the team that has been the away team most recently is the home team.
      5. If still tied, coin flip to decide

For example, 1 seed is home and beat 4 seed; 3 seed as away beat the 2 seed. Then the 1 vs 3 game would have 3 as the home team (rule 1) and the 2 vs 4 game would have the 4 as the home team (rule 1). If 3 lose and 2 wins, the second game between 2 vs 3 will have 3 as the home team (rule 3).

Wild elimination game in Knoxville. Final: WFU 14, Miami U 13. The Redhawks trailed, 14-9, heading to the 9th. After a 2-run HR, they tacked on 2 more runs, but K'd with runners at 2nd & 3rd to end it.

The Demon Deacons' pitching staff, as well as their awful defense (3 E's), showed their shortcomings today. The loser of UC's game tonight will play WFU tomorrow.

Almost all games today will be streamed on ESPN+, including UC v TN. At the same time (6:00 ET), ESPN will show women's softball, ESPNN will show the national collegiate cornhole championship (yes, that's correct), ESPNU will show OK vs NC, and ESPN2 will broadcast FSU vs MS State. In addition, the SEC Network will have Duke vs GA, while the ACC Network will have WV vs Clemson.
