That's a big net positive in recruiting to have him on the air with visibility last night. High school players are watching that.

I think he did well and can only be seen as a positive for UC. Our coach was an on-site analyst for the National Championship Game. Lots of eyeballs who got to see the UC logo and hear from our coach. I think it’s a pretty big deal.

Nothing new here other than quotes from an interview with Richard Katz (sports agent) saying CLF is worth $7-8M/year.

Even marginally interested UC fans know there are schools out there that can afford to pay more $/year for a coach than UC can currently. I just question the timing of the article. Why? What purpose does the article serve? What hairbrained editor thought "I have a great idea for an article that no one has thought of before...I'll get a reporter to write about CLF's salary"?
