He was an absolute beast for UC in 2022. He doesn’t fit the physical traits of an NFL LB but his play certainly does. I’ll be interested to see if he gets drafted. Best wishes to him either way.

Neither did Zach Thomas or Sam Mills and I believe both are in the NFL HOF. Hopefully NFL front office people aren't blind to that

Per Vikings Nation, Pace is in camp with Vikings and running with the 2s on the depth chart.

A few sources out there seem to think Ivan has won the starting position at LB. It hasn’t been officially announced by the Vikings but he did not play in the last preseason game after calling the defensive signals the previous two weeks.

The Vikings' beat writer at theathletic.com wrote that Pace is a lock to make the 53-man roster and may start in Week 1. That will depend on the health of Brian Asamoah.

Pace is such a great story. Under-sized, over-heart kind of guy with a motor that will not stop. No team gave him a look that just made that chip on his shoulder even bigger. Congrats to the young man, I saw that he is listed as the starter. I am glad that he decided to finish his college career at UC and made such an impact on our program. Good luck.
