    I don’t know if UC had knowledge of Sorsby’s gambling. But, I find the timing odd of Sorsby entering the rehab, the counter reports that UC knew of his gambling and the motion to dismiss the lawsuit UC filed against Sorsby for the $1M.

    It was just a couple of years ago that a UC BB player's father was arrested for gambling with "inside" knowledge (but not on a UC game). He was trying to place a bet down at the Reds' gambling facility. The bet was on a mid-week game that was so outrageous that it drew attention of the gambling company, the company's security, and eventually law enforcement. All this to say, two UC assistant baseball coaches were fired because they had "knowledge" of the father's betting.

    So, I would think some seats in the UC Athletics department ought to be heating up over this.
