Time now to reconfigure his life. Stay away from the gamblers, get back in school and earn his degree, and work out to stay in shape. How badly does he wan’t to change his life?

There will be a trickledown effect if he is taken. Every team after that team in the 2027 draft will move up a spot.

desperation causes many unwise choices. Will a team "gamble" that they can pick him up later in a further down round.

If UC officials knew of Sorsby's gambling, regardless if it was in games he participated in and continued to play him, or merely done just the minimum required by the rules to address the situation, then CSS needs to be let go as well.

i've seen reports that UC knew he was gambling, but they've stated that none of it was against any laws and/or ncaa rules, and that they then did education / training with Sorsby. Who knows. But, nothing with this mess would surprise me at this point.

Understandable. I just want this chapter to be passed (no pun). I do have some serious concerns with the coaching staff and administrations. They may have done what was required, but if they knew he gambled on his team, why would they think he wouldn't do it again.

This is why I have been so positive concerning the basketball program. Perhaps no program can be clean, but I am naive. I just want to root for the Cats to win without the drama except in the games.

It isn't over yet and the scapegoats must be found. UC knew and did little, if anything according to the agent.

According to the school, they met the minimum standards according to the rules on gambling.

It is time for some action as one knows that Pinto isn't going to let the heat hit him. One would think that he had to know. Why did they let him play will be quite the question. Were the standards UC met just dealt with all players as there have been few cases that we know of concerning the actual gambling on games. What did the HC, AD and possibly Pinto think when they found out he bet on IU as a member of the team?

Move on take our punishment like mature , educated , civilized adults and show integrity in and out of the classrooms.

And the NCAA still has to get that Texas judge ruling overturned, or there are no rules on gambling for college athletes.
I believe the case against the NCAA was dismissed so the decision stands that he cannot play NCAA football.
