I think instead of focusing only on stats, look into how a player makes everyone around them better. I do not believe that we lost anyone who made people around them better. I suspect that we may be gaining a couple who will.

I have no doubt that if they land Nollers, that roster is light years better than last year. I think Phinisee is an upgrade over Saunders this upcoming season. McGinnis was a non-factor. Madsen wasn't going to add more than he already has. Ezikpe will help the post (upgrade) and could start. Nolley is one of your two best scorers if he joins.

Time for a separate Landers Nolley thread? Or will I confuse people again... saying NOT COMMITTED atop the Phinisee one seemed to work.

I'll try and find the source but I saw something yeaterday that Said Nolley will have his degree at the end of the current semester.

The SI article said he was graduating and would have two years of eligibility between his redshirt year Va Tech and COVID.

On potential transfer Landers Nolley, didn't realize he was at Virginia Tech two years (redshirted his first year), so while he's played three seasons between VT and Memphis: A) he would appear to have two years of eligibility left, and B) he might be eligible as a grad transfer, not that I've seen his transcripts and know how close he is to a degree.
