The staff has made contact with Brandin Podziemski who went into the portal from Illinois. 6'6 SG from Wisconsin.

Podziemski came to the Illini as a 247sports.com 4* and the #3 player from WI in 2021. He played very little as a frosh (69 minutes total). While he didn't demonstrate much in the way of shooting (3/13 treys), the sample size is really small.

Rocket Watts -- a guard from Detroit who played 2 years at Michigan State and 1 at Mississippi State -- is portaling. Wonder if he has any relationship with David DeJulius... Perhaps he may be looking for his third MSU to play at, however.
