Was this the kid who popped on the radar extremely late and had his mom tweeting out his clips?

Good size, unsurprisingly has done very little statistically. I think a drop down to a mid-major would be his best course (though just judging based on stats).

Borzello tweeted a list of schools that had contacted Nelly (so far) and UC not among them

Penn State senior guard mentions "Cincinatti" (ugh) among other schools https://247sports.com/Article/Basket...sas-184981259/

Sessoms averaged 11.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists this season.

Looks like he played well for 2 years at Binghamton (also the Bearcats) and had some solid numbers in the last 2 years with Penn State. Only 6'0. From Philly (Skillings connection?). A one year PG solution doesn't sound great, unless you factor in they are hoping to bring in a 5-star 2023 PG, which would actually make a ton of sense.

Obviously looking for a guard at this point. Preferably a grad transfer so as not to discourage Isaiah Collier or Trey Green

Yep. I didn’t connect the two until you posted this.

Per Jake Weingarten, initial teams that have reached out to Saunders include: BYU, Miami, UNLV, Utah, Wichita State, Santa Clara, Iona, Grand Canyon, Nevada, Cal, Wyoming, Duquesne, Tulsa, Winthrop ... sounds about right

SF Eric Van Der Heidjen is in the portal. We were after him and lost him to Louisville. He ended up at Ole Miss after UofL violated things.

^^ 4 minutes per game? What was the reason? Only 15 games? Was he injured? However, if he was only getting 4 minutes per game, I understand why he would transfer.
