That's worrisome. If Duke wants a player it's almost certain they will get them. NIL, legacy, conference, history, and overall resume trumps just about everyone else.

Georgia has landed Division II player of the year RJ Sunahara. I believe he is the son of Reed Sunahara, the former UC volleyball coach who now coaches at West Virginia.

Deadline day! (Kind of.) The transfer portal window slams shut later today — but that doesn’t mean it’s the final day of transfers. Names will trickle out as paperwork gets processed. More importantly, portal window rules don’t apply to graduate transfers, so those won’t stop.

Basketball plays mid week road games. The closest and easiest road trips will be Cincy, WVU, and Houston. The travel will be worse for them than any newcomer.

He played his first two seasons at Wake Forest, the same years Ody Oguama was there. Will be a grad transfer.

Hunter Dickinson -- arguably the top player in the transfer portal -- is headed to the Big 12 (Kansas).
