Mental health is likely going to be the main reason many two-time (hopeful) transfers will cite in order to get waivers to play immediately. Aziz has played at Akron and UVU.

Also, just saw this via @trillydonovan: The two-time transfer rules are effecting recruitments all over the country. Guys like Moussa Cisse, Ques Glover and Efton Reid have had to pivot a few times because of eligibility concerns.

quote "Chad mentioned on BCJ pod last night that Simas may be deciding in next 48 hours (from last night) but not necessarily an announcement in 48. Take it FWIW... the longer this drags, the less confident I feel. Great if he commits, but if he doesn't at least they could grab someone else -- but obviously have to build that relationship with mystery player X". unquote

Is there a deadline to when the portal entrants must sign and if so, is there anyone left in the portal that could conceivably be of any help to the team?

This matches up with the rumor he is considering pulling from the portal, and makes sense if Wes told him there is a deadline.

Not sure what the rest of Huggins' roster will look like, but WVU doing well in the portal:

    1) Arizona's PG, Kerr Kriisa
    2) Syracuse's top big, Jesse Edwards
    3) RaeQuan Battle, a wing from Montana State who averaged 17.7 ppg and scored 27 in the NCAA Tournament versus K State

This question is for those with more intel than I, but if Simas' Lukosius decides to transfer elsewhere is there any one else that we've targeted to fill that guard / wing spot to focus on that hasn't made their choice yet?

it makes sense that he's coming back home if he was contemplating retirement from basketball anyways. Now he can come home, play one more year, and figure out his future plans. Hopefully he can spark some of that Iowa shooting while he's here
