    Damian Dunn in the portal.

Was very good at Temple over a few years, did not translate to Houston where his numbers were down across the board but still averaged over 6 points in 17.5 minutes.

Jamille's former teammate is a North Carolina native, and the 6'5 grad student should have one more COVID year left.

I saw him at MSG earlier this season. Big time playmaker. He had 26, 7, and 6 against St. John's. We'll see if his academic issues are fully behind him come next season.

Shakeel Moore -- a 6 '1 G from Greensboro, NC -- is portaling with one year of eligibility.

One year at NC State, three at Mississippi State. Career 8.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists -- most recently 7.9 / 2.2 / 1.8 and a career best 36.3% three point shooting (not particularly high volume) this year.

With All-American Jamal Shead expected to leave, Houston will turn to the transfer portal for a replacement at point guard. “If you are not utilizing the transfer portal today then you’re getting behind,” coach Kelvin Sampson said in a lengthy interview this week. “The portal has been great for us.”

We are out on Tony Perkins. He's cut his list to 6 and we're not on it.

He's going to the G-League and trying for a 2 way contract.

Didn't Bronny already commit to Penn State?

    Kansas bound. Makes sense.

Fredrick and Hickman are very similar players. CJ shoots a few percentage points better for his career, but he also puts up fewer shots and doesn't do much of anything inside the arc. Hickman is asked to be more of a volume shooter and create his own shot on a mid major squad. Neither is a great defender or rebounder. Identical career assist rates of 14% (ok for a wing). Both saw dips in production in 2023. They're both 6'3" pure shooting guards.

CJ: 41% from three on 338 attempts in 94 games
Hickman: 38% from three on 407 attempts in 93 games
