The Bearcats play the first of two big home games this week, with Memphis coming to Fifth Third Arena on Thursday. If UC wants to keep its NCAA Tournament hopes alive, it will probably need to win this game -- not to mention it is always fun to beat Memphis (and Penny Hardaway). Ordinarily, it would be a pretty rockin' crowd, but sounds like things could be dicey weather-wise, so we'll see. UC will be wearing the 70s throwback uniforms.

The bad stuff is supposed to hit here in Texas late tonight with ice, sleet and snow but I think I saw where it's getting to Ohio a day later?

Looks like three games that week, though all at home so travel not an issue

Memphis has won 5-0 and is firmly in the mix for an NCAA Tournament bid if they keep things up. Time to play spoiler.

Penny's squad is 3-0 with three double-digit wins, including an 11-point win at Houston, since Emoni Bates went out. Seems like addition by subtraction, which is crazy to think because two or three years ago he was heralded as the best HS prospect in years.
