Temple has hired Adam Fisher, a Penn St asst. coach under Shrewsberry, to the HC position. I don’t know anything about Fisher but seems like a complete downgrade from McKie. Wonder what happened there that we aren’t hearing about.

Looks like Mark Madsen from UVU is headed to Cal. He's a Stanford grad. That'll be awkward.

@GoodmanHoops: Utah State’s Ryan Odom has emerged as one of the top candidates, arguably the frontrunner, for the South Florida opening, source told @Stadium. Odom has won at both UMBC and Utah State.

Based on my interactions with PSU fans over the years, they could care less about the baggage

The site is a local Penn St. board. Unfortunately this is paywalled and I can’t read the whole thing.

Penn State would be better off pursuing someone who knows the area/region and probably with something to prove (coming from a smaller school). Not sure they could have done much better than Micah Shrewsberry and they're back to the bottom of the Big Ten this upcoming season in all likelihood.

But you have to start big and swing for the fences (debatable, if you're a PSU fan, if going after Wes Miller would count as that)
