Speaking of coaches, I wasn't aware that Larry Brown mentors Coach Miller and was instrumental in bringing Nolley to UC. Coach Brown is a legend and is legendary for leaving successful programs.

Seems like the North Texas and Oral Roberts coaches could get a look here. Also, can't rule out former Texas Tech coach Chris Beard at this point, right?

Tech folks seem to think Beard burned all his bridges on the way out of Lubbock. However, he is a candidate at Ole Miss.

Spot on comparison. Kirby Hocutt, the Tech AD seems to make bad decisions quite often with hires. It'll be interesting to see if one or both of them go.

Also one to keep an eye on — Texas Tech suspended Mark Adams for racially insensitive remarks. Seems potentially comparable to what happened at Penn State with Pat Chambers.
