Bearcat curse? Every team that UC has played in the Big 12 has lost at least its next game

UC beats BYU, BYU loses to Baylor the next game
UC loses to Texas, Texas loses next two games
UC loses to Baylor, Baylor loses next three games (active losing streak)
UC beats TCU, TCU loses next game
UC loses to Oklahoma, Oklahoma loses next two games (active losing streak)
UC loses to Kansas, Kansas loses next game (active losing streak)
          UC beats UCF, UCF ???

Houston and Texas went at it in an extremely physical performance. After the Cougars jumped up by 8 at the half in Austin, the Longhorns' defense tightened, allowing them to have a late small lead. Houston tied it and the game went to OT, in which the two teams continued to go back and forth. In the end, the Cougars pulled it out, 76-72.

A couple of good games on tonight. I'm interested to see Texas Tech play against TCU. Tech is leading the conference standings and no one's talking about them.

TCU takes down Tech , 86-78 in Ft. Worth. That does the whole conference a favor with everyone taking a half step closer to first place. We're 2.5 games out from first even at 3-4 in conference. The parity in this conference is ridiculous.

And, so it seems, unlike some of UC's recent conference affiliation mates, they are all GOOD!

Mostly. Here's the standings as of today. Outside of WVU and OK State everyone's pretty decent or better. The conference standings are just a huge logjam.

Max Abmas just went on a personal 9-0 run to bury TCU. That's bad for two reasons: 1) Texas is a bubble team 2) TCU will probably drop out of the top 30 NET and no longer be a Q1 win for us

Kansas destroyed Houston. Houston with a really subpar effort on D and Kansas just hit everything. Houston never got closer then 10 after halftime.

Still rolling here. UCF lost to Baylor earlier this week. WVU lost to BYU today.

UCF over Oklahoma was a big win for us as it keeps another Q2 win in place for at least the foreseeable future.

In a 5-way tie for 8th place at 4-5. Two games out of first (6-3), two games out of last (2-7).
