Amen. I used to listen to UC on the radio back in the Pat Cummings era. Here is link to a Huggins team game against ranked Minnesota: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crSQnuBbgNA

Seems like guys with shorter last names (REED, JAMES) have larger/thicker font on the back of their jerseys
Sloppy start but game 1 so what do you expect?
Good start by Thomas
Fredrick drills first 3
Lotta bodies in and out. No Griffith or Tolentino yet.Comment

Any development in Lahkin's game is very subtle, don't see any thing overwhelming.
Defense still a work in progress can't believe they allowed this team to stay in it son late.
We need Reynolds and Bandaogo ror rebounding if nothing else.
Really impressed with Day Day but no Griffith sighting,
wondering why.
First game of year so still sloppy yet. Going to bed nowComment

I'm going to reserve any criticism tonight.. On one of the timeouts they had the cameras on Griffith and the female announcer made a statement in regards to practicing prior to tonight's game... almost made it sound like Griffith has not practice hard enough and therefore he's not on the court.. or was I hearing it wrong?Comment

UIC's Okani ate UC alive. They had nobody capable of guarding him. After tonight's performance, we REALLY need Bandago to protect the rim and Reynolds for an extra body on defense. Why no Griffith?Last edited by London 'Cat; 11-07-2023, 06:47 AM.Comment

Wel it is great to watch the Cats again. I was also happy listening to the knowledge Terry Nelson has brought to the game. So much mature insight. First game sloppiness, but serious rim protection problems. This won't do against Kansas, but hopefully help is on the way. Good to see Josh Reed in the game. Skillings looks stronger and I enjoyed his game. Frederick played better d then we were told and he can shoot. Overall, I like the two new point guards and looking forward to overall second game improvement on Friday. Again, happy to see the Cats back in action and to get the win.Comment
