The annual basketball coaching salary list is out from USA Today. Wes is in at #54. Some of these guys are practically stealing money from their schools.

Games today include 2nd round of ACC, 2nd round of Big 12, 1st round of Pac-12, 1st round of Big East, 1st round of Big Ten, 1st round of Mountain West, 1st Round of SEC. ... AAC tips as well -- I always hated UC would not play until Friday, when this is such a fun week.
Only ranked teams playing today are BYU (versus UCF) and Kansas (versus UC).
Oklahoma/TCU is a good game -- both likely in, but loser could find its way into Dayton (especially if TCU).
Most bubble teams don't play until tomorrow, but New Mexico is one who does play today.
Mike Saunders (McNeese State) plays in the Southland championship game at 5:00 p.m. on ESPN2; Jeremiah Davenport (Arkansas) plays at 7 p.m. on the SEC network; Mason Madsen (Boston College) plays at 9:30 on ESPNU; Gabe Madsen (Utah) plays at 11:30 p.m. on the Pac12 network

While watching the BYU-TTU game, I switched during a commercial to ESPNU, where the Tulsa-ECU game was airing. I'm not sure why the operators of Dickies Arena bothered to open the doors. It was a sea of gray seats with no butts in them.
In the late 1960's Welsh folk singer Mary Hopkin recorded a song titled "Those Were the Days". As former Veep Hubert Humphrey would've said, "I'm as pleased as punch" ... not to have to watch the Bearcats playing those teams again.
[I know, only the geezers on this board would get the references.]

UNC whipped up on FSU. MSU pulled away from Minnesota in the second half.

The most hated figures in college basketball: March Madness 2024: The 50 Most Hated Figures in College Basketball - worldtravelling
Note that most of these are based on success where others are based on reported cheating or taunting or just being bad people. UC has two individuals on this list that are icons.

FAU just took one to the chops at the hands of a poor Temple squad, 74-73. Temple (16-19) will play UAB tomorrow for the AAC title, which is guaranteed to steal a bid.
FAU are now in shaky condition with regard to The Dance. Their record includes some decent Q1/Q2 wins, but they now have a Q3 loss to go with 2 versus Q4. They came in at #33 in NET. That's going to drop precipitously after losing to #198 Temple.,
