    New NIT Bracketology ... https://www.nitbracketology.com/2024...-march-15.html

Has UC hosting Boston College - welcome back, Mason Madsen!

Also this from Penny Hardaway yesterday (saying "zero" chance Memphis will accept a bid): https://sports.yahoo.com/penny-harda...002048520.html

Hopefully we don't get any lower than a 2 seed as the two guaranteed home games would be welcomed.

          Here's another one https://thebarkingcrow.com/nit-bracketology/

UC as a #1 in the "Cincinnati" region hosting Indiana, winner takes #4 LSU/NC State with Pitt and Iowa among others in the same quarter.

I have no idea how they do matchups (but I am sure there are geographic considerations), as this person has had UC/IU several days in a row.

I can guarantee that our NIT will not be Indiana. Indiana has become the first or maybe second team to opt out of the NIT. They are going to focus on roster management. (i.e not losing guys in the portal)

Ole Miss and Memphis also opted out.

In other words finding more NIL money to pay those who they wish to keep.

also studying and perhaps hinting to other team's players that IU is a "great" place to play with great tradition. The problem with this is that if a kid secretly commits, I would guess their play would be hampered. Another bad thin the NIL brings. Concerning tOSU possibly opting out. They have 2 trans fer grad students who have played in the NCAA tourney. Do they want to go NIT. I think if they really like their new coach then yes and they will play hard for him to win it. Times have changed although a solid floor leader is still vital for victories.

Ole Miss surprises me. Memphis doesn’t. The drama machine is in high gear down there.

Selection is at 9:30 but their countdown clock says 42 minutes. Either way, I guess that I will wait until tomorrow to see where that bracket stands. 2024 NIT bracket: Schedule, TV channels for the men’s tournament | NCAA.com

It's at 9:30. That countdown timer you're seeing is for the women's bracket announcement.

XU made the field at 16-17. They travel to GA.

UC will host San Francisco. Date & time TBA. IN State #1 seed. All teams in the quad but USF are midwestern.

Per gobearcats.com, tickets on sale Monday @ noon. Nothing upstairs. Club/courtside: $35; seatbacks $25; student section general admission $20 ($10 for students).

ESPN hasn't set the schedule yet.
