after being yanked he woke up -- Rufus want more than hero ball. It is good when making the shots, but it is hard to hit 50% doing that. That old song - when your hot you' are hot and when you not - the other team goes on runs. Let's not waste this defense

well they played that 21 really well after his hot start. If they keep it up , it looks good.

Good defense. No doubling, fighting through perimeter screens, controlling the glass. We got pinned on a couple of interior screens early and were surprised by a couple of flare screen pick-n-pops, but in general we're doing a nice job covering perimeter screens and back door cuts.

I think Skillings needs to do better in the half court. As I said pre-game, Skillings and Jizzle should be able to slash against this team. Jizzle is doing his part. They're shutting down Simas, and Newman doesn't seem interested in driving, so we're relying on our slashers.

Past this old man's bed time. ISU is making the Cats play smart team defense. It takes some to get used to ISU's style, but CWM made some good adjustments. Now for some rhythm on offense.
