Good defense. No doubling, fighting through perimeter screens, controlling the glass. We got pinned on a couple of interior screens early and were surprised by a couple of flare screen pick-n-pops, but in general we're doing a nice job covering perimeter screens and back door cuts.

I think Skillings needs to do better in the half court. As I said pre-game, Skillings and Jizzle should be able to slash against this team. Jizzle is doing his part. They're shutting down Simas, and Newman doesn't seem interested in driving, so we're relying on our slashers.

love the double on 21 and great side defense stopping their back side offense. Love good defense. Happy to see one go inside to reynolds. he should be part of the offense in the second.

Some defensive mistakes starting to creep in. Can't go under any screens against shooters. And can't push drivers baseline against a 4 high. Newman's gotta know he can't just let the guy go baseline if Avila is up top.
