Would like to see how it is done versus Purdue, I agree those types can control a game, but there is still room for a Big. Houston might win it all with what Grand Canyon is doing. They also take care of the ball or Mr. Sampson will sit you. Of course he has prepared them very well.Originally posted by sedz View PostUtah St showing how easy it is to beat TCU by taking care of the ball.
Grand Canyon showing how several athletes in the 6'7 to 6'9 range can overwhelm traditional bigs.

FDU is one of my favorites, but this is a new year. I like to see quick teams win and tOSU showed how to beat them, but being a new year, they have revenge. A quicker team to go with the big guy. Anything can happen in a tourney. Ask tOSU in the early 60s. Purdue gets complacent and that is why I don't like their coach. Still - they are on a roll, but can be beaten as FDU showed. Good point !Originally posted by sedz View PostFairleigh Dickinson showed everyone last year.Last edited by leo from jersey; 03-23-2024, 01:18 PM.

Self proclaimed March Madness: After loss to Gonzaga, KU's Bill Self admits he's 'been thinking about next season' for the past monthOriginally posted by longtimefan View PostKansas quit early in the second half. Apparently Self is only a good coach when his talent overwhelms opponents.
He lost his leading scorer. remember when Huggs lost K Mart and installed a whole new offense. Pitiful and pathetic as Self let the team, the school and the fans down. Maybe he needs to donate his salary until next year to the school's library or other cause.
