Viktor Lakhin has a new Instagram post with a thank you and goodbye to UC. Seems to be heading home/overseas.

He also posted a story saying one day he’ll make a Netflix special at Fifth Third and said “Don’t boo me then” with a wink emoji.

      THANK YOU VIK!

        Good luck, Vik!

I’m not sure local hero is applicable. Don’t remember
him tearing it up in high school. Could be wrong tho.

Good luck to Vic. When he was on his game, he was great.

I appreciate your straightforward answer. I trust your knowledge of this. My friends and I got frustrated by the lack of Bearcat representation by his dad, but that is a silly thing to get grumbly about.

Vic made great contributions during his time at UC. I’m not sure what happened this year but he was poised to have an incredible Jr year, 17 pt 8 rb average type year, and it didn’t happen. Season changing aspect of what I found to be an underachieving (with cause for concern going forward) year. Had Vic’s development occurred as expected? Who knows.

Even with his late season struggles, Vik ended the season as our leader in box plus minus. He was also our best player last year. He was undoubtedly a major building block to start the Wes Miller era.

I too was expecting giant steps in Vik's development going into our inaugural year of big12 bball. It's a mystery as to what exactly occured to this past season, but I will always consider Vik to be a bearcat. I wish him well, and I hope he finds everything he wants in the way of success in the next chapter of his career. Good luck Vik

I wish him all the best in the future & he left with a positive good bye. A real class act for sure!

Talking about Sage - he had a lot of hype due to height.

As discussed above, Viktor Lakhin is moving on. While it seemed like he would be going overseas, he has still gone ahead and hit the portal.

are you saying Vik is open to the best bid?
