Welcome to the Bearcat family Kylie. She sounds like a great pick for our Cats.

That's surprising to me. I wonder if she's headed back to the state of Texas.

I'll add that Chloe didn't play in our biggest win of the season at Texas Tech. Coach Merriweather may have made it clear that her role would be reduced.

Chloe had a negative BPM with the second highest usage on the team, even higher than Jillian Hayes. She shot an abysmal 32% effective field goals with more turnovers than assists. I never like to see players leave, but this could be an addition by subtraction.

Not UC related but...... Hailey Van Lith is the first college basketball player ever to reach the elite 8 with THREE different teams. This just shows what the transfer portal has done.

TCU’s Hailey Van Lith is now the first player to ever play in 3 Elite Eights for three different schools.
Not the first woman. The first player EVER.
In the new age of the transfer portal, more players than ever are moving from school to school to find the best fit for themselves.
But it seems like everywhere Van Lith goes, it’s a perfect fit.
Because not only has she gone deep in the NCAA Tournament with 3 teams, but she’s done it 3 straight seasons as well.
    2023 – Louisville
    2024 – LSU
    2025 – TCU
This year for the Horned Frogs, Van Lith scored nearly 18 points a game and a career-high 5.4 assists.
Unfortunately, in their attempt to make the Final Four, they lost to in-state rival Texas.
She also lost in the Elite Eight round with both LSU and Louisville.
In addition to playing in 3 Elite Eights, Van Lith was also a member of Team USA’s 3-on-3 basketball team at the 2024 Olympics.
Next up: the WNBA Draft on April 14.
