Offer to 2027 Haylee Noel of WV Thunder AAU . She may have been a teammate of Dee Alexander there.

Torvik debuted women's ratings this year. The Bearcats are #85, which is pretty good but still third to last in the conference.. The Big 12 is crazy good on the women's side too, as the entire conference is in the top 90.

The signing class for 2025 is in and they are officially the highest ranked WBB recruiting class at UC, ever.

Please be aware that they are using the Fab Five name for this class and try not to flame the staff or players if you were a MBB fan from '92.

Tonight, UC had a 10-point lead with 3 minutes left. Seton Hall employed a 1-2-2 full court pass & the Cats couldn't handle it. Multiple steals that turned into layups or free throws. The Pirates pulled it out, 69-67.

They were trying to dribble through the press. Our senior PG had 9 turnovers (Hylton has a career 31 TO rate, so not out of the ordinary). Not great.

Solid game from sophomore Reagan Jackson though. Game high 5.4 net points with 11 points on only 8 shots, 4 assists, and zero turnovers.

WBB also plays Xavier this weekend on Sunday at 1:00 in Norwood. We haven't been talking about the WBB team much so far but they're 6-2 in Non conference play. One of the losses was a heart breaker at home to Seton Hall and the other was a neutral court MTE game in Canada against Florida Gulf Coast.

Jillian Hayes is on an absolutely tear this year so far. She's averaging just short of 20 and 10 through the 8 games. She's about to catch Bev Obringer in several stat categories and is chasing or passing Cheryl Cook in most of them.

Might need some wall space in 5/3 here.

The Bearcats had trouble shooting against the Muskies' 1-2-2 zone (0/13 treys) but they dominated inside, forcing a ton of fouls that led to 24/30 from the line. X went 5/9 from the stripe.

UC also dominated the glass (40-29) with Hayes grabbing 7 off the offensive glass.

Tineya Hylton had a rough day. She committed 2 PF in the 1st minute of the game and had to sit out most of the half. After starting the 3rd period, she again committed 2 quick fouls and was done for the quarter. Hylton eventually fouled out midway through the 4th.

Ladies are starting Big XII conference play and are currently down 36-24 to #13 K State on ESPN+. Jillian Hayes is 1-7 so far. That's a problem unless she gets going.
