The Bearcats had a one point lead at the half and a 3 point lead with under 5 minutes to play, but lost 82-77 at Penn St. Reagan Jackson had another nice game, leading with 3.4 net points. Freshman Kylie Torrence bounced back to lead the team with 18 points and a 2.8 DBPM thanks to 3 steals. Alliance Ndiba grabbed 8 boards in just 19 minutes. Mya Perry struggled tonight, going just 6 for 18 from the field with 4 turnovers.

The Bearcats fell to Lehigh 88-85 at home in their opener. Mya Perry scored 31 and Reagan Jackson added 21. The freshman trio of DeVillasee, Crawford, and Torrence really struggled. They combined for negative 11 net points and each posted a negative 5 BPM or worse.

Mitchell is only a HS freshman, so it'll be a while before she can take official visits. She's a 5'8" combo guard from Indy Pike. Per "Woods Recruiting", she's unafraid of contact, defensive disruptor and floor general. In the GUAA 15U circuit (similar to the men's AAU), she has put up double-doubles against elite competition.

Welcome to the Bearcat family Kylie. She sounds like a great pick for our Cats.

That's surprising to me. I wonder if she's headed back to the state of Texas.

I'll add that Chloe didn't play in our biggest win of the season at Texas Tech. Coach Merriweather may have made it clear that her role would be reduced.

Chloe had a negative BPM with the second highest usage on the team, even higher than Jillian Hayes. She shot an abysmal 32% effective field goals with more turnovers than assists. I never like to see players leave, but this could be an addition by subtraction.
