TCU rallied from down 9 in the 2nd half and took a 6-point lead in the final minute at Baylor. A Frog fouled VJ Edgecombe while shooting a trey. He hit all 3. Baylor then pressed and forced TCU to lose the ball across the Bears' baseline. Baylor tied it at 0:25 with a trey, causing Jamie Dixon to call time out. TCU drew the Baylor 1-3-1 zone to the center, then found a wide-open shooter in the corner. He buried a trey at 0:05. Frogs win, 74-71.

It was basically a mugging for 40 minutes; very physical. Baylor played out of control for much of the 2nd half. The Frog's effort and physicality, particularly by Earnest Udoh inside, was too much for the Bears.

Houston held next UC opponent Utah to 36

Half: UCF 43, @ KS 41. DuJuan Harris out injured. Self had to use 3rd string PG for awhile.

Keyshawn Hall 17, Darius Johnson 13. Jayhawks 10 TO, but up 25-15 on the glass. Dickinson & Mayo 11 each.

This is the Knights' payback night, after the Jayhawks embarrassed them in Orlando, 99-48, in their 2nd B12 game this year.

I tried to warn everyone about Kansas back in April, haha.

I think the guys they've brought in are overrated. All three are negative defenders and only Mayo is an efficient scorer.

BJ Freeman no longer with Arizona State due to detrimental conduct

Arizona State's leading scorer BJ Freeman is no longer with the men's basketball program because of conduct detrimental to the team, a team spokesman confirmed Sunday.

The dismissal follows a turbulent stretch for Freeman, who was ejected in games against Colorado and Arizona during conference play. He was also suspended for the team's road loss to Oklahoma State on Feb. 9.

Coleman Hawkins injured his knee sometime recently and was held out of KSU's loss to ASU. Jerome Tang did not sound optimistic about a quick return.

Houston has clinched at least a share of the Big 12 regular season title

Per ESPN.com article: "Houston: Became the first team to win a major conference title in its first two seasons in a league since Idaho did it in 1922-23."
