Chad (reluctantly) spoke on the Jizzle matter during last night's Bearcat Bounce Podcast. If you want to listen, the conversation starts around the 54:00 mark.
For those who have been following the story, Chad didn't drop any major updates, but did state that he was "not confident" that the program and Jizzle would make amends when all is said and done.

can you give us the cliff notes version? what happened to upset, etc JJ?
If he comes he comes, if he doesn't there are minutes available and this might just be addition by subtraction. I know I might get hammered but I thought he hurt the team the first moment he was on the court. Sure he made shots, but didn't make teammates with his ball hog antics and didn't make a lot of wins. Maybe someone not from a famous family might be hungry for improvement and not the limelight.
Without Sedz getting out the sabremetrics, I agree this doesn't have to be detrimental to the team. Yes, when he was on, he would get downhill, play nice D, and hit shots. When he wasn't, he was a volume shooter who was missing, taking deep 2's and not getting to the rim enough. In past years we've needed a Jizzle just to do something when there is literally no offense. Paired with DayDay who also loves the jumper 2, it was a bit duplicative. I hope this year we have more of an offensive scheme and ball movement where that role isn't as necessary.
Sounds ominous that someone or something happened, and people are clearly pissed at the moment. I just hope CWM and staff didn't do anything fans are unhappy with when things are all cleared up and info is available.
The last thing this team needs is a disgruntle player who has their egos hurt. I'd like to see Jizzel stay but if he can't come to grips with the situation (whatever it is) and move on to embrace the team, then so be it.
Honestly, I was hoping to see him play all 4 or 5 years here.
I have no inside information nor do I have specifics concerning any favoritism being shown to any specific player, all I go on is what I see on the court. Last season the team went in some kind of funk that lasted several games that the team never did get quite out of throughout the season. It wasn't until JJ started to find his rhythm so to speak that the team started to be even a facsimile of a basketball team. But even then he wasn't playing team ball. I think the aura or stigma associated with JJ's father's has tainted CWM's ability to field a competitive team. As has been noted by many on this forum this is supposed to be Millers most competitive team and I'm just waiting to see how this season plays out. But it don't look like it's beginning without a hitch.
It's hard not to guess/speculate that Jizzle is upset with either losing some playing time, or the less likely event of not starting. CWM must have the authority and final say on who earnsplaying time and which lineup combinations will lead to success, including what role each player will play. Jizzle isn't perfect, but he has been the better player (or at least a top option) on offense each of the last two years while conintuously improving on defense. For a rising 3rd year player and starter, it is incumbant on Jizzle to show team leadership in practice/offseason workouts to show the young newcomers the work effort needed to earn playing time. He also needs to show the maturity to accept that his effort may need to increase so that he can continue to earn playing time. If anything else is going on, then it doesn't benefit the team or the growth/development of all players.
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

Two years ago Simas Lukosius was by far the better player. The ball at the end of the game was in his hands and he often made shots or passed for the winning basket. Jizzle had the opportunity but due to his errant passing (wretched passing), ball hogging mentality and freezing on the last shot, he blew it. Last year the Cats didn't have a good offensive player. That is what Coach Wes is taking into consideration for this year's team. Plus a new assistant coach brought his guy in to be the focus.
Wes has long walked the razors edge of recruiting more players than there are minutes available and trusting things to work themselves out, while keeping everyone happy. Seems like Jizzle isn't happy and hasn't learned to keep things off social media. Having a rich/famous father probably fuels that a bit too.
On the other hand, it probably means Jizzle is being beat out in practice, which isn't exactly the worst sign for our team. Day Day and Kriisa are both better shooters/passers and Day Day definitely defends better as well. I'd guess Sincere is more of the minutes at the 2 than anticipated and perhaps Collier is looking more ready than expected. Jizzle's best skill is his ability to generate his own shot off the dribble, but the long jumpers he creates aren't a good shot.

Who's Collier? Perhaps Keyshawn Tillery instead? He is a true PG. The Bearcat Journal staff have commented that he has looked great on the offensive end, busts his butt on D, and is a vocal leader, even as a frosh - on and off the court.

Yeah, I meant Tillery, but my brain inserted the name of the highly rated guard we didn't get a couple years back. Hopefully they end up somewhere close to comparable on the basketball court.
Lots of good things have been said about Tillery, though I always take that with a grain of salt in the off-season, there have been plenty of guys talked up in the off-season who never get on the court when the minutes actually matter. If Jizzle is upset about potential minutes though, that lends some credence to the idea that Tillery may be ready to take some.
I will say this. In my mind Jizzle is not a true point guard. He's a CG with a score first mentality. All that is fine but if you need someone to distribute and make the guys around better, I'm not sure it's Jizzle. He'd rather score the ball himself at this point
Tillery is a true point and even though he's a freshman, he might be the true distributor we've been lacking for a while. I like Jizzle just fine but if the team is better with Tillery at the point, and Jizzle off the ball, play him.
Honestly if Tillery (or anyone) can throw good entries to Thiam on the block , we're in good shape.
