I cannot find any, from any of his 3 big commitments. I would imagine we'll contact him, but seems like a long shot given zero connection.

Appears we do not. Early recruitment shows other Big 12 & SEC Schools...

May have one season left; weird career:
    - 2 years of junior college ball
    - 22 games in 1 season at Kansas
    - 1 game at DePaul
    - 2 years at GCU after a gap year in 2022-23*

    * From Wikipedia: At DePaul, Grant-Foster played in only one game, collapsing at halftime of the Blue Demons' opener. After 16 months involving numerous tests, he was cleared to play. Finding his options limited due to his health scare, Grant-Foster signed with coach Bryce Drew at Grand Canyon after receiving a recommendation from his cousin, Ish Wainright.

    He is 25.
Would be the perfect replacement for Skillings, or if Mitchell leaves. If I'm Wes, I put a full-court press on Foster!

    Sometimes it's on the kid.

Yes - coaches should be expected to get the most out of the players they recruit. But it is also up to the player to want it and to take advantage of the opportunities given.

For those remembering Eric Hicks favorably (as do I) - don't forget that he actually quit on the program and the coach. He left and went home his freshman year. I believe it was his grandmother (or maybe his mother) that made him return and face the tough love that Huggins was giving. Kudos to Eric for returning and being moldable.

One of my kids is a current D1 athlete. I can assure you there are players at the same school that looked very promising coming into the program that discovered they didn't want to work that hard and have failed to deliver on potential.

None of us know exactly what goes on behind the scenes. I am just suggesting that those who are being critical of the coach(es) might want to temper that a bit. If the kid doesn't want to be coached, there are only so many things the coach can do.

Dan is in the portal because he and Wes weren't seeing eye to on things. The rumor was that Wes said one thing to him and did another and Dan was not OK with that.

Regardless of the injury to Dan, I think he was either not on board with Wes or pressing too hard and maybe distracted by off court stuff. He's 20 something whaddya gonna do?
Chad Brendel still is of the opinion that Dillon Mitchell is probably not coming back

    (We already know Reed's status)

More what ifs on CWM's tenure. He has continually failed to develop the talent he has recruited. The only hope is that the transfers are developed enough to help. He gets a chance to show if he can with the two frosh coming in. Maybe the air needed to be cleaned with a certain player out. We will see. I am very disappointed and frustrated with the major sports programs at UC. They are totally irrelevant today and tomorrow doesn't look to be better.

It worked for several final four teams last year. UConn had cam Spencer. Purdue had Fletcher Loyer.

The key is having a system that shooters can thrive in.

What doesn’t work is a collection of athletes who can dunk, but are a far cry from basketball players.

I'm not sure anything will make me excited for next year, since I finally had high hopes this year and it was an ultimate let down. I will still have season tickets and be a huge fan, but I'd rather TRY, and like it or not, losing the guys we had to graduation, bringing in Abaev and Tillery, and retaining all others was NOT going to be a really good team. Have to see what all shakes out but the only thing I'm 100% sure of is next years roster needs to look a lot different than this years to even have a chance.

score 14 give up 22 doesn't win a lot of games
