Haynes shoots a lot, putting up 10 shots from the field and more than 5 free throws in only 25 minutes per game. And he's efficient at 55% effective field goals, with more than half of them unassisted. We were sorely missing someone who could create his own shot inside this year. And I think he could reduce his TO rate if he wasn't trying to force things too much with a lower usage rate. If he did that I can see him being a 4+ BPM player. He did post a 4.0 BPM in 9 top 100 games. I like this guy. He might not be a star in the B12 but I think he could be a good rotation player who can give us some much needed offense in the post.
Averaged 17.2 and 6.8 in his last 10 games, including four games over 20 in scoring and an impressive 61 points over three A-10 tournament games.

He had single digit scoring outings eight times, with half coming in November and none past January 21. He also had 18 and 7 in 24 minutes versus Duke in mid-December.

        My fault...not official.
Apparently he was in such a rush to get away from Miller that the ink on his transfer notice hasn't had a chance to dry before he signs with someone else.

Dar had a 1.9 BPM this year. Decent three point shooter at 36% on moderate volume. Takes care of the ball, but a negative defender. I see him as a backup 3. A Jeremiah Davenport type.

Rothstein — “Central Connecticut transfer Devin Haid is down to the following three programs and is expected to make a decision by the end of the weekend, per his agents @noah_reisenfeld and @Adie_vongontard.

              Kansas
              Texas
              Cincinnati”

Wooster, OH native averaged over 14 ppg this year in his first year in D1. The 6’5 junior spent his first two seasons at D2 Notre Dame (OH).

Haid posted a 4.7 BPM as a high usage, 3 level scorer. Gets to the rim nearly 4 times per game and converts 70% there, plus a respectable 45% from midrange, 32% from three, and 87% free throws. Just ok defensively, though he has a high steal rate and doesn't foul much. Good defensive rebounding for a wing. Could start at the 3. A Jaquon Parker type.

If he’s as tough as Jaquon Parker, I definitely want him.

X just landed a decent PF who I thought UC could have used: Tre Carroll PF 6-7 / 233

                      Avg 12pts, 5 Rbs a game , former 4 Star Recruit.

They also just landed some Italian kid who from looks seems like the next guy you want to punch, filling the Freemantle role

                          Jalen Haynes committed!!

BREAKING: George Mason center Jalen Haynes has committed to Cincinnati. #Bearcats Haynes was a First Team All-A10 selection this past season and averaged 14 points and 6 rebounds a game. Size and physicality.
