54 points in 60 possessions. 0.90 points per possession. 19 midrange shots compared to just 13 rim attempts and 9 free throws. We outrebounded them, blocked more shots, the turnover battle was tied, and we shot better from three. But WVU took 10 less midrange shots than us and got to the rim 5 more times and the free throw line 12 more times. That points to a scheme problem more than anything. I'm not sure if Wes even recognizes it as a problem.
Celestine was our best player. Only 8 points on 12 shots but with 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and zero turnovers. Baba was second best, scoring 10 from the field on 9 shots plus 5 for 6 at the line, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks. McKinley only had 1 point in 21 minutes but led in DBPM. Jizzle scored 18 on 16 shots but had 4 turnovers and no assists.
Kriisa was our worst player with two missed shots and no other stats in 15 minutes. Harris was second worst, turning it over 3 times in just 9 minutes. Dzellat was next, fouling out scoreless in 11 minutes. Day Day also had a negative BPM.
