I saw Steven Adams had a 22% OReb rate this year, on pace to set a record. That's insane. There are some college TEAMS that don't rebound 22% of their misses.Originally posted by leeraymond372@gmail.com View Post
If Thiam is drafted, all NBA indicators point in that direction, he will be drafted as a center. Part of his responsibilities will be to rebound. Thiam will have to gain some weight and some toughness to play on the inside if he is going to survive in the NBA. I am sure the big-time money will encourage him to toughen up.

Steven Adams. This guy is a first-class tough guy. Even when he was at Pitt, he did not score many points, but he would touch a player up (in the words of Shaq O'Neal) who came into the paint. Remember, Steven Adams played in the old Big East. He was drafted after only one season in college. Steven Adams understands his role on the court. He rebounds and protects the paint. He is big enough and strong enough to do his job. I have always liked Steven Adams for how he plays basketball.Originally posted by sedz View PostI saw Steven Adams had a 22% OReb rate this year, on pace to set a record. That's insane. Every team that Adams has played on (while in the U.S.) has had a winning record. I like to think that he had a lot to do with those winning records.Last edited by leeraymond372@gmail.com; 01-31-2026, 08:52 AM.
