Saint Louis is in the midst of presenting a huge contract upgrade to try and keep Schertz around for at least another season, sources said.”
There's been word that, if SLU can't re-sign Schertz (Billikins working on a substantial pay raise), he's inclined to avoid schools that are FBS members. Providence has been mentioned as a possible landing spot.

Unrelated: Boston College has fired Earl Grant, sources told @Thefieldof68.

The UNC-Greensboro job is coming open, per Pete Thamel and Jeff Borzello.

Wes Miller's successor, Mike Jones, is out. He had a winning record in his first four seasons before a drop off this season. UNCG last made March Madness under Miller in 2021.

In a surprise to nobody, reports of Bobby Hurley being done at Arizona State -- if I recall correctly, he is on the last year of his contract (seems unprecedented)

Lamont Paris, who led South Carolina to a 26-8 record in 2023-2024 but has been in the bottom of the SEC the last two seasons, will apparently return for a fifth season

A good look at why the time may be (or is) now to move on from Wes Miller

Then get ready for another rebuild. We’ll start with no roster, again. Too bad we didn’t stay in the AAC, we would be headed to our fourth straight NCAA right about now.

Do you actually think that with NIL, that UC would have the roster it has now?

This article makes a pretty compelling case for parting ways with CWM as soon as it can, irrespective of the buyout at that time. It means ~$9.9M over six years ($137,500/month) before March 31. And ~$5M over four years ($97,708/month) on/after April 1. It seems worth it to hire at an optimal time vs. waiting until April 1. JMHO.

Adrian Autry is out at Syracuse

An interesting name to watch: Siena's Gerry McNamara, who made the NCAA Tournament last night in an impressive 2-year turnaround.
