An interesting name to watch: Siena's Gerry McNamara, who made the NCAA Tournament last night in an impressive 2-year turnaround.

That’s not impressive but it is Youngstown State. I don’t believe they have the resources to field a successful basketball program. How long was he there? Did the record improve year over year? What was his record in the final year vs the first year? He must have caught the eye of Utah State for some reason. And what he has done at Utah State is impressive.

One things for sure, I believe UC would have already fired Miller by this morning. I don't think CWM is going anywhere,!

I'd think a move -- if there were one to be made -- could easily happen next week.

Also, any potential replacement is still coaching right now, so I'm not certain there is a rush.

He is likely on the way back from KC. A decision like that needs to be communicated in person. Too soon to say that he is staying.

I figured the team would have arrived late last night and Wes would have been contacted to be in early AM.

As far as ther buy-out goes, I would have hoped UC would have already established with Wes a buy-out if the tournament was not reached.

Personally you would think UC Athletics etc.. and Wes would have had goals in place, and if not meant a buy-out was already nenegotiated.

I'm probably way ahead of myself, not the first time!

Tarleton State is hiring Eric Haut to replace Billy Gillespie.

Relevant in that he is the associate head coach of Jerrod Calhoun at Utah State / his longtime assistant.

Rothstein — Sources: Kansas State has zeroed in on Belmont's Casey Alexander to be its next head basketball coach.

Nothing is done, but the two sides are now working through a deal that will make Alexander the Wildcats' next head coach.

                                Alexander accepted the K-state job.
